Margaret "Margee" Locke

Margaret (Margee) Jayne Locke of Centennial, Colorado passed into the Lord’s arms on October 12th, 2021 at the age of 81 while in the home of family.  She was born of the Rennecker family in Oxford, Nebraska and moved to Denver as a small child.  She is preceded in death by her first husband Larry Enloe and by her second husband Rodney Locke (divorced 1991).

Margee enjoyed sock-hops, backpacking & fishing in the mountains.  She worked many years in the retail industry for Sears & JCPenney while raising her family.  Later in life she worked in insurance claims for Pacificare American Family.  She and her beloved dog Izzy were inseparable until the very end.

Margee was a proud member of Girl Scouts and Job’s Daughters, and a graduate of South HIgh School in Denver.  She was a big NASCAR (Earnhardt Sr) fan, a Yankees baseball fan, a collector of anything pig-related and savored chocolate by the ton. Margee is survived by Izzy, her children Don (Linda) Enloe, Sheila Kolnicki and Shawn (Shelly) Locke, grandchildren Leanne Tudor, Bruce Duncan, Christina Enloe and Kayla Locke, and great-granddaughter Sadie Goodwin.  She is preceded to eternal sleep by her parents, Margaret and Frank Rennecker, siblings Frank Rennecker Jr, Phyllis Link and Sue Nash.

Visitation will be at Horan & McConaty in Centennial on Wednesday October 20th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Services will be at Horan & McConaty in Centennial on Thursday October 21st at 10:30 am.  A reception will immediately follow.  Internment at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver will be at 2:00 pm.
