Margaret (Marge) Miller

Marge (Heritier) Miller, 95, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024, surrounded by family.

Marge was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She moved to Denver, Colorado after graduating high school. She married William (Bill) Miller in 1955 at St. Francis de Sales Church, and raised five children in the Washington Park area of Denver.

Marge was faithfully devoted to the Catholic Church and was an active member and volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and School. Marge participated in the Alter and Rosary Society, Parish Council, PTA, the Marthas, and served as president of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for 20 years.

When her children were older, Marge worked several part-time jobs and later volunteered at Lincoln Elementary in Denver.  Marge enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, bowling, camping and fishing, traveling and taking cruises, dancing, and relaxing at the family condominium in Breckenridge, as well as attending events, including concerts and Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rockies games.

Above all, Marge loved spending time with her growing family, especially celebrating holidays, birthdays, weddings, and attending family sports events.

Marge was preceded in death by Bill, her husband of 65 years.

Marge is survived by her children Paul (Cheryl), Sue (Tom Healy), John (Kathie Kinsella), Chris (Lisa), and Joan Gardiner (Tom), her 11 grandchildren Cara, Julia, Elizabeth, Mayan, Keri, Elisa (preceded Marge in death), Courtney Elise, Matthew, Erin, Leah and Will, and 10 great grandchildren.

Marge was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family.

A Rosary will be held at 12:45 pm with a Mass to follow at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2375 E. Arizona Ave., Denver, CO 80210. A Reception will follow the Mass at House of Rothchilds, 675 S. University Blvd, Denver, CO  80209.

Interment will take place on Saturday, March 9th at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
