Margaret Louise Lee

Margaret Louise Lee, age 87, passed away on June 25, 2025, at Gardens Care Senior Living facility due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Hutchinson, KS on December 1, 1937. In her earlier years she worked for Montgomery Wards, in the Catalog Department, and eventual went to school to learn to become a keypunch data operator and working for the Bureau of Land Management for several years. She enjoyed and loved watching all the colorful birds from her big kitchen window, putting puzzles together and playing computer games. She especially loved when her grandchildren and great grandchildren came to visit.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Linda Ardis of Aurora, CO and Pamela Clarke (Rich) of Lochbuie, CO. Three grandchildren Chadd Unruh, Colton Lippman and Kelly Delahanty (Daniel) and four great grandchildren Mason, Ava, Emma and Liam. She is also survived by one sister Kathy Depew (Jim), one sister in-law Raney Roberts and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Lee, parents Bob and Ann Roberts, two brothers Bill and Dick Roberts, one sister Dorothy Mauldin and grandson Trevor Ardis.

Funeral services will take place July 2,2025 at Horan & McConaty funeral home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora CO.,80014 with visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the service immediately following at 11:00 am. Burial services will be in Marshall, TX.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
