Margaret A. Kral

Margaret Ann Kral, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2020 in Lakewood, Colorado at the age of 95.

Margaret was born and grew up in Brooklyn, New York with her sister, Adelaide and brothers Charlie and Fred. Often known by her immediate family as ""Sis,"" Margaret attended ""Girls High School"" in Brooklyn, whose building has become the oldest still standing public high school in New York City. As a very successful student there, she graduated early at the age of 16.

After World War II, Margaret was employed at Chase Bank in New York City where she met her future husband, Joseph Kral. After marrying in 1950, Margaret and Joe settled on Long Island where they would raise their 3 children. Being very active in the local church and community groups, Margaret also enjoyed spending time with her children as well as filling her days with her favorite activities such as gardening, crocheting, entertaining and becoming an excellent cook. In 1989, Margaret and Joe decided to retire to Colorado to be close to their children and grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her 2 daughters: Peggy Fulster (Fred), Karen Kral, and by her son: John Kral (Paula), all residing in Colorado. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Stephen, Curtis (Kelly) and Elizabeth Fulster and Nathan and Daniel Kral.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Kral and her 3 siblings: Adelaide Simms, Charles Wolfe and Frederick Wolfe.

She touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed.

Services for Margaret will take place on Thursday, March 12 in the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel located at 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood starting with a public visitation at 9 O’clock in the morning followed by a Memorial Service at 10 O’clock. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12 O’clock.
