Mae Marie Crabtree

Mae Crabtree, beloved sister, mother, grandma, and friend passed away on April 8, 2026 in Greeley, CO. She was born on October 15, 1980 to James Jr. Crabtree and Mary Kay Burns.

She grew up and attended school in Hudson, CO before moving to Denver, CO where she spent her teenage years.

Mae had three children & was a grandma of three – Shaylene, Myla, and Eliana. There is also another grandchild on the way. Mae was a mom of three chihuahua’s as well – Teddy, Tommy, & Tink, who she absolutely adored. They were her babies.

Cooking was her passion and our favorite dish she used to make us was Mexican Lasagna and homemade Mac & Cheese with spaghetti sauce. She also loved her Starbucks coffee, shopping, and getting her nails done.

Her favorite colors were black & white – which would be recommended attire at the service.

Mae is survived by a host of family that includes her two sons, Keith Crabtree and Dante Claybourn; one daughter, Taylor Claybourn; two sisters, Jamie Hill & Tricia Jones; three brothers, William Crabtree, Kelley Crabtree, and James Crabtree, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 29th at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home 7577 W 80th Ave Arvada, CO 80003.
