M. Elaine Jackson

Mabel Elaine Jackson, of Denver, Colorado; passed Tuesday evening, April 23, 2024, at Belleview Heights located in Aurora, Colorado.

She was born May 16, 1929, in Center, Missouri to Lester and Geraldine Ledford. She married Darrell Keithley Jackson on August 9, 1949, in Center, Missouri. He preceded her in death August 24, 2019. Elaine had one sister, Marjorie Wybrant who preceded her death. 

Survivors include her son Les Jackson (Aurora, Colorado) and daughter, Deborah Jackson (Boise, Idaho); four grandchildren, Chadd Jackson (Colorado Springs), Heather Jackson (Portland, Oregon), and Darrell Jackson (Aurora, Colorado. Stewart Jackson preceded her in death (2021). She had ten great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. 

Elaine Jackson worked at University of Colorado Medical Center for almost 27 years and set up the Physician Referral System. She also worked 14 years as a flight attendant for Ports of Call Travel Club. She loved bowling, bridge and her dachshunds.

Services will be Thursday, May 2 at 2:00pm, at All Saints Lutheran Church, in Aurora, Colorado. She will be interred at Center, Missouri Cemetery, alongside of her husband. In lieu flowers, memorial donations are encouraged to: Perry, Missouri Nutrition Center, 105 Palmyra St, Perry, MO 63462; or to Semper Fi.
