Lynsey Anne Patten adored wife, mom, daughter, daughter-in-law, niece, and cousin passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Highlands Ranch, CO from complications of multiple sclerosis. She was 48 years old.
Lynsey was born on January 31, 1977, in Eastlake, Ohio. She is survived by her parents, Kerry (Cribley) Moskowitz and Howard Moskowitz, her devoted husband, Chad, her precious children, Alex and Althea, her in-laws, Kathryn and Fred Patten, and numerous Aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael.
Lynsey was a dedicated high school teacher at Eagle Academy in Lone Tree, Colorado. Since she was a little girl, she always wanted to be a teacher. She followed that dream and completed her Master’s degree in English and Literature.
She was known for her devotion to her family, especially her children, her kindness, her love of animals and her wicked sense of humor, and for the quiet ways she showed love to those she cared about.
Lynsey’s funeral will be held on Monday, December 22, at 11:00am at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Littleton, Co 80128. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley, Littleton, CO 80120.
Lynsey will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
