In the fall of 1964 they returned to OSU where Bob completed a Masters in Civil Engineering and Lynda did graduate study and taught skill classes in the Physical Education Department. They returned to Denver in the spring of 1965. Bob worked for an engineering firm and Lynda taught in the Jeffco School System . Lynda left teaching shortly before Mark was born in 1967. She helped Bob when he formed a consulting engineering firm in 1971. She would type reports at night after the kids went to bed.
The firm prospered and they were able to join the Pinehurst C. C. in 1973 and very shortly she became the 9 hole golf champion. She played golf on Pinehurst teams for many years. Lynda became an excellent skier and loved all kinds of outdoor activities. She played competitive tennis in her 50âs and 60âs. When Bob quit keeping regular office hours they traveled all over the world. She died peacefully while sleeping in their home. She had battled dementia and heart problems for 5 years.
