Lydia made her transition on May 23, 2014 after a nine year battle with metastasized bone cancer. She was born April 1, 1939 in Gunnison, CO to Robert and Virginia Theander, both deceased. Her husband, Charles (Chuck) Webster preceded her in death in 2003. She is survived by her brother, Donald G. Theander, nephews, Gary (Becky) and Kevin (Danielle) Theander, stepchildren Amy (Arthur) Holland, Darrel (Suzie) Webster, Alan Webster and step grandchildren Ryan and Kamryn Holland, Sydney Webster, Jason Webster and Cari Holifield. Lydia spent most of her life in Denver area where she attended the University of Denver. She worked for several law firms and ended her working career at Mobil Oil at which time she returned to Penrose, CO to care for her ailing mother. She met and married Chuck Webster and moved to Leadville, CO where he had been a lifelong resident. Lydia moved back to Denver after she was diagnosed with metastases bone cancer in 2005 where she lived until her transition after losing her nine year battle to the cancer. Lydia's family would like to thank the staff of the Exempla Lutheran Collier Hospice Center for the compassion and care given to her during the months leading up to her transition.
