Luther Daniel ""Bud"" Harrington

Luther Daniel Harrington was born in Front Royal, Virginia on November 26, 1933 to the late Luther Derixon and Ethel Elizabeth Williams Harrington and passed away on June 21, 2018 at Chelsea Place, Aurora, Colorado where he had been a resident for five months. Luther graduated from Rappahannock County High School in Front Royal, Virginia in 1951. He then attended Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida and graduated in 1955. While attending Southeastern he met Nancy Ruth Brewer and they were married on June 11, 1955 in Akron, Ohio. He then obtained his business degree from Urbana College in Urbana, Ohio in 1980. Luther worked for Rockwell International in Kenton, Ohio for 34 years and was a regional sales manager based out of Aurora, Colorado when he retired in 1995. After his retirement, he and his wife Nancy moved to The Villages in Lady Lake, Florida where they lived until 2013, returning to Colorado due to his failing health. Luther enjoyed traveling, playing golf and billiards, singing, gardening and being a tinker of all trades. He used the skills he learned in Bible College in various positions of church ministry to include interrum minister, Sunday School teacher and superintendent, worship leader, board member and chairman of the building committee at various churches he attended over the years. He is survived by his wife Nancy Harrington of Castle Rock, Colorado; daughters Kimberly Fuller of Jacksonville, Florida and Kelly Gallant of Castle Pines, Colorado; a son Brian Harrington of Aurora, Colorado; four grandchildren, Matthew, Halie, Caleb and Jordan; and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Friday, June 29th at 10 am with Deacon Winn Allison officiating. His ashes will be interred at the Horan and McConaty Rocky Mountain Memorial Park, Cremation Gardens, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Luther's memory to the TYG program at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 9941 Lone Tree Parkway, Lone Tree, CO 80124
