Lucille Bruser (1950 – 2024)
Lucille Winifred (Strege) Bruser, 74, of Aurora, Colorado, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2024.
Lucy was born in Door County, Wisconsin on February 6, 1950 to Raymond Strege and Charlotte (Teich) Strege. She was a graduate of J.I. Case High School in Racine, Wisconsin and went on to attend Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a young adult,
Lucy lived in Wisconsin and California. After a successful corporate career in Chicago, Illinois, Lucy moved to Denver, Colorado, where her life of servitude began.
Since 2001, Lucy devoted her life to serving God in ministry and mission work in the Denver area. Everyone who knew Lucy recognized her gifts of evangelism and discipleship. Lucy touched countless lives throughout her life, working with at-risk communities, a number of inner-city street ministries, outreach programs for Christian refugee populations, and other ministries too numerous to count. Her life's mission was to spread the love of Jesus and support the furtherance of God’s kingdom.
Lucy will always be remembered for her zest for life, her compassionate and fearless spirit, and her passion for sharing her faith with anyone and everyone. She had a fierce desire to spread the word of God, and for Jesus to live “His life” through her, to the Glory of God the Father. Lucy will be greatly missed by all those who loved her, but we rejoice in the knowledge that she is wrapped in the arms of her heavenly Father.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Charlotte Strege, brothers Thomas Strege and James Strege, brother-in-law William H. Rowell, Jr., sisters-in-law Marlene (McCance) Strege and Ginny (Crosslan) Strege, and niece Monakaye (Strege) Martinez. She is survived by her sister Patricia (Strege) Rowell, brothers Harold (Loree) Strege and Daniel Strege, 13 nieces and nephews, 33 grandnieces and grandnephews, 4 great grandnieces and grandnephews, and many more brothers and sisters in Christ.

“Jesus gave His LIFE for us So He could give His LIFE to us So He could live His LIFE through us.”
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
