Wayne Gnadt

(Lloyd) Wayne Gnadt was born in Carl Junction, MO, on March 24, 1931. Wayne was a business teacher who taught at East High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, and West High School, retiring from Denver Public Schools in 1993. Wayne also taught correspondence business classes on KRMA TV, Channel 6 in Denver.

Wayne is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 55 years, Joanna (Jo) (Jones) Gnadt. Wayne and Jo were married August 20, 1960 in Wichita, KS. The couple moved to Denver, CO after their wedding in order to begin their teaching careers in Colorado. The couple raised two children: son Jay and daughter Sally, who survive Wayne along with their families: Jay and his wife Amy of Allen, TX, and their two daughters, Tricia and Emily; Sally and her husband Chris Daily of Aurora, CO, and their son, Jack.

Services are to be held Friday, January 17, 2025, 2:00 p.m., at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 9203 S. University Blvd. Highlands Ranch, CO 80126.
