Lisha St. Claire

Lisha St. Claire of Lakewood, CO passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday December 15, 2024, at the age of 82.

Born MaryBeth Walther on October 22, 1942, to Ethelyn Almeda Beebe and Louis John Walther, Lisha spent her formative years in Flint, Michigan.

Lisha graduated from Hurley School of Nursing in 1963, and moved to San Jose, California in 1970. She moved to Colorado in 1992, but her heart always belonged to the Bay Area – known as ‘Valley of Heart’s Delight’.

She was an avid reader, an accomplished pianist, and loving Mother. She loved her plants, flowers, and collection of bells.

Lisha is survived by her sister Alice [Frank] Carroll, her half-sister Wilma Racette, and her half-brother David Farner; her 5 children Francis Swarbrick, Thomas [Lisa] Swarbrick, Elizabeth [Bill Egnor] Swarbrick, Marie [Kurt] Knapp and Brian Yon; and her 5 grandchildren Kelly & Grace Swarbrick, and Kaiser, Koenig & Kyra Knapp.

Lisha was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ruth Anne Walther, and her ex-husband John Francis Swarbrick.

A memorial will be held in California in June 2025.
