Lisa Christensen born Rita Marie Bradley, changing her name to Lisa when a professional dancer, passed peacefully on 8/8/26. 

Lisa was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Florence Grace Tryon and Robert Michael Bradley in 1941. 

Lisa was a former ballerina with the Joffrey Ballet in the 1960's who traveled all over the World and performed at The White House during the Kennedy/Johnson administration. She was very proud of all her work with the Joffrey Ballet, especially a piece named Seashadow choreographed by Gerald Arpino that was created on her. 

In her later years, she chose to move to Oregon, always loving that Coast and the water. She was known for her support of Barack Obama and in lieu of flowers, she would prefer a donation towards his foundation.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years John Christensen, her daughter Michelle Uthoff and her two grandchildren Owen Campbell and Ivy Campbell.
