Linetta Powell

Linetta Marie Ross Powell was born October 5th, 1948 in Kansas to Francis and Dorthy Ross who have both preceded her in death.  She married Gregory Lloyd Powell in August of 1970 and together they had two children, Jennifer Marie Powell Schneider (Brian Schneider) and Joshua Lloyd Powell (Sarah Powell).  Her husband Gregory Powell preceded her in death in 1979.  Linetta has five grandchildren; Ava, Michaela, Kendall, Jonah, and Ashlynn.  Linetta is survived by her sister Marlene Ross McDonald (Tom McDonald) and preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Ross.

Linetta had worked for Charles Schwab for the last 20 years and enjoyed her finance career greatly.  Some of her favorite pastimes were spent with her grandchildren whether it be shopping, trying new restaurants, seeing the latest Star Wars or Marvel movies, or going swimming.  When she was with her grandchildren she was at the peak of happiness.  She had a wonderful memory and loved making sure that everyone felt special and remembered on their birthdays.  Linetta loved music and the arts.

She loved the LORD and was active in Biblical studies. Her favorite verse was:

"The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26.
