After a brief illness, Linda A. Pissare was peacefully reunited with her beloved son, Matthew, on June 17, 2025. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Linda moved to Colorado during college, drawn by its active lifestyle and open spaces. She found her home there - one that matched her spirited, athletic nature - and never looked back.

Linda approached life with energy, warmth, and a generous heart. She worked hard, moved quickly, and shared her positive outlook with everyone around her. While she took pride in her many professional real estate accomplishments, her greatest joy came from her family. Her loving husband and two boys were the center of her world.

One of Linda's biggest passions in life was sports. She wanted to become a PE teacher until she tore her ACL while playing soccer. She played every sport imaginable, including college basketball. She taught her oldest son how to play tennis, and her youngest son how to play soccer. You could often find Linda at the local tennis court or in the backyard showing Matthew how to play goalie. While raising two children, she somehow managed to never miss a game or practice.

Linda also found joy in her home and garden. Much like her mother, she had a natural love for tending beautiful, outdoor spaces and took pride in the peaceful refuge she created. In recent years, she and Michael had been traveling the world together - everywhere from India to Greece, with many more countries in between and yet to be planned. With that spirit of exploration, Linda became an avid picture taker; always making her husband and son stop and pose for her.

Linda is preceded in death by her son, Matthew; her parents, Ed and Virginia Wendt; and her sister, Cindy Goetz. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Michael; her loving son, Nicholas; her siblings, Ed, Keith (Tersenia), Claudia (Dennis), Tom (Anne), and Laurie (Marty); her close Pissare in-laws; many nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of cousins and dear friends who will carry her memory with love.

Even through the hardship of fighting cancer, Linda was full of joy, passion, love, kindness, and an unwavering spirit that is unimaginable. In her darkest moments, she was still a beacon of light to all around her. May her memory be eternal.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27, at 4:00 at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO, with a reception and Celebration of Life immediately following. Private interment at a later date.
