Linda Main

Linda J. Main, 77 of Highlands Ranch, CO passed away on November 6, 2022, while surrounded by her family. Linda was born on May 15, 1945, in Evansville, Indiana. She moved to Colorado with her family in 1951 where she lived for the remainder of her life.

Linda was married to Dennis Main in 1963 and together they had three children who were the focus of her life. Linda raised her three children while excelling in her career with AT&T. Linda began her career as a Telephone Operator shortly after graduating from high school and quickly advanced in her career and was promoted to various management positions. She dedicated 35 years of her life to her career. Her dedication and strong work ethic are values that she passed along to her children and grandchildren.

Linda met James (Jim) Frost in 1984 and together they shared an adventurous and loving relationship until Jim passed in 2015. Linda and Jim enjoyed traveling, building a cabin, spending time with their family and most of all spoiling their grandchildren.

Linda was kind, generous, compassionate, selfless, brave, strong, a fighter and someone who dedicated her life to her family. She was happiest when her family was gathered together and the Christmas season was a time that she cherished the most. Linda loved giving to others and took advantage of every opportunity she had to go shopping to find something special for those she loved. Linda had several beloved dogs throughout her life with the most recent being Lucy. They were her companions and she treated them like royalty.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband (James Frost), parents (Mahlon and Lenora Sherrill) and brother (Ronald Sherrill). She is survived by her brother Larry Sherrill, sister Cathy Harper and her children, Shelly Sack (Joe), Dennis Main Jr, Stacy Mouw (Jamie) and her four grandchildren Alan Sack, Austin Sack, Isaac Mouw and Olivia Mouw.

Linda will be missed by all and will forever remain in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel at Cherry Hills Community Church located at 3900 Grace Blvd. Highlands Ranch, CO 80126 on Monday November 28, 2022 at 10:30 am. A reception will be held at the church immediately following the ceremony.
