Obituary

Linda Ann Hinrichs, 84, passed away on October 13, 2026, at her home in Denver, Colorado. She was born on September 15, 1942, in Stamford, Connecticut, the daughter of the late John Baldwin and Katherine “Kay” Baldwin (née Creutzinger). She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Richard Hinrichs, and her daughter, Kristen Kelly Randolph.

She is survived by her son, John Adam “Jack” Hinrichs, and wife Amanda; her daughter, Kathryn Ann “Kate” Godowski, and husband Steve; her sister, Mary Kay Baldwin; her brother, Gladden Baldwin; and her grandchildren, Naomi Randolph, Carolyn Randolph, Owen Randolph, Henry Richard Hinrichs II, John Adam “Jack” Hinrichs Jr., Andrew Lee Hinrichs, Graham Godowski, and Nora Godowski.

Lynn spent most of her adult life as a homemaker after enjoying work in medical administration. She married Henry Richard Hinrichs on July 8, 1967, at Harvard University Memorial Chapel in Cambridge, MA. They remained married until his passing on November 5, 2004.

Over the course of her life, Lynn made homes in Boston, San Francisco, Jacksonville, West Newbury, and Albuquerque, where she raised her family and gave generously of her time at various organizations. She was most proud of the time she devoted to volunteering and serving as a member of the Board of Trustees at Albuquerque Academy, the school her children attended through middle and high school. She and her husband, Dick, shared a full and happy life together, traveling, attending lectures and visiting their children - hobbies she continued after his passing with her sister and other family members. Lynn was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, an overly competitive bridge player, a wonderful cook, and the heart of every table she set.

Lynn faced more than her share of adversity, and she met all of it with strength and grace. Those who knew her will remember her resilience, her warmth, her dry sense of humor and her steady devotion as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 1091 Colorado Boulevard, Denver, CO 80246.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (bcrf.org) or the Muscular Dystrophy Association (mda.org).

She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
