Lilian Servellon Rommereim, 75, of Westminster passed away on January 2, 2021 at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge due to complications from COVID, pneumonia/diabetes and dementia. Born on March 27, 1945 in El Salvador, she was the daughter of Santana and Tonita (Hernandez) Servellon. Lilian married Harlow Rommereim on March 25, 1967 in South Dakota and together they shared 53 years of marriage.
Lilian mastered over four different languages including German, French, Spanish, and English. She worked and managed a business as a Spanish interpreter for over twenty years.
Apart from her self-education of languages, Lilian attended the Patricia Stevens Finishing School in Chicago where she learned English and earned a certificate in Air Career. Later, Lily earned a degree in accounting from Front Range Community College in Colorado.
She very much enjoyed being a homemaker, mastering a number of different arts and crafts including crochet, knitting, tatting, cross stitch, embroidery, and macrame. She enjoyed traveling to corners of the globe with her husband including trips to Norway, Canada and Hawaii. Everyone loved Lily’s cooking.
She will be remembered for her passion for life.
In addition to her husband, Harlow, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey Rommereim; her daughter, Daphne Rommereim-Madden and grandchildren, Paisley Ann Rommereim and Kevin Joshua Madden.
A Memorial Service to honor Lilian will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021, 2pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003. Given pandemic meeting restrictions, please RSVP to Jeff Rommereim by March 5, 2021 at 303-917-0700.
