Elizier, “Les” Leal, age 61, passed away on October 4, 2023, from a hard-fought and courageous battle with cancer.
Les was a graduate of Cheyenne East High School. He went on into the Hospitality business for over 30 years winning Stars of the Industry and other distinguished awards highlighting his focus on customer care and satisfaction. Les had a unique ability to touch others’ lives.
Les loved history and spent his last few years in retirement enjoying movies of all genres and hours gardening; bringing beauty with flowers for all to enjoy. He is survived by his daughter, MaKaela Kinzer; his mother, Antonia Leal, and four sisters: Sonia Lamorie, Yvette Dolan, Leslie Ann Milliken, and Michele Nussbaum. He is preceded in death by his father, Les Leal Sr.
Funeral Services will take place at Horan & McConaty (1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO) on Saturday, October 28th at 1:00 pm.
Because Les was known for throwing epic Halloween parties, his family requests that guests dress in Halloween Costumes.
Flowers can be sent to funeral home or in lieu of flowers, donations in Les’s memory can be made to the Dumb Friends League.
