Leonard Glaviano

March 8, 1938 — October 17, 2022

Aurora, Colorado

Leonard Frank Glaviano died peacefully on October 17th, 2022.  Leonard (known by many as "Len") was born on March 8, 1938, to Nicholas & Mary (Adducci) Glaviano, and leaves behind his wife, Sandy, and two sons, Jeff and Tony.  Len was a kind and loving father who supported his sons individually according to their strengths and personalities. Len was the consummate optimist who exuded a love of life and always saw the bright side. As a man of faith, he used the Golden Rule as a guide, instilling strong values and stressing responsibility for one’s actions.

He loved music. A voice major in college, he was also an expert classical guitarist, accomplished pianist and could play trumpet too. And to pass along this love, for years he ran a summer music camp for kids in Aspen, Colorado. As a middle school counselor, Len helped support countless young students who were often dealing with challenging home lives.  In his spare time, he and Sandy built a large Shaklee distributorship which taught his sons about creating a small business, taking care of customers, and working persistently toward one’s goals. He was an avid outdoorsman - skiing, fishing, and pheasant hunting well into his 70s.  We will miss Len, his puns and humor, his optimism, and his love of family.
