Lee Greene, a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away on March 29, 2026, aged 72. Born on April 8, 1953, Lee was a woman defined by her loving, caring, and selfless nature. Immensely dedicated to her family, she created countless precious memories, especially with her grandchildren who she delighted in spending time with. A pivotal figure in her family, she will be greatly missed by her husband, David Greene, her children, Shannon (Greene) Toler and Philip Greene, her sisters, Shelagh (Odom) Heflen, Sally Odom, and Suzie Omstead, along with her grandchildren, Shayla Toler, Jace Toler, Kyler Toler, Luka Greene, Micah Greene, and Bobby Eldridge III. Predeceasing Lee are her parents, John Odom and Coralie (Odom) Mazzoni, her brothers, William, Michael and Johnny Odom and her sister Carmen (Odom) Croghan. Her loss is poignant, for she was irreplaceable. Her radiant spirit, warm smile, and boundless love will remain treasured memories that will help her family and friends to find comfort. Beyond her family, Lee made significant contributions to causes close to her heart, including Shriners Children's and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Her generous spirit went beyond her immediate circle, touching many lives and leaving a palpable impact on the community. Unforgettably, Lee also found joy in attending Bunko with her friends. Her laughter and warmth added richness to the lives of all who knew her and will be missed in the years to come.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation to collectively mourn the loss and celebrate the indomitable spirit of a truly extraordinary woman. Today, as we bid farewell to Lee, we also vow to keep her legacy alive, cherishing her values of love, care, and selflessness that she instilled in us.
