Lawrence Jacob Gatton

Lawrence “Larry” J. Gatton, age 81, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on April 2^nd, 2024. He was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School in Owensboro, Kentucky, and moved to Colorado at the age of 18.  He retired from the Wholesale Liquor distribution business in the early 2000s.

Larry loved four wheeling and spending time in the mountains. Over the years he owned and worked on several classic cars. 55, 56, and 57 Chevrolets being his favorites. Larry and his wife, Pat raised 3 children together and made many happy memories.  He is survived by his wife, Pat, daughters Dawn(Michael) and Wendy(John Sr.), son Jason(Joleta), along with his grandchildren, John Jr., Tawny, Tyler, Isaac, and Lu.  He is also survived by his two siblings, Marie and Dennis, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice.

Burial services will take place on April 15^th, 2024 at 11:30am at the Fort Logan Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Avenue, Denver Colorado 80236.
