LaVerne E. Dillard loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, departed to her heavenly reward on July 22, 2026. She was born on January 29, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. Guided by her deep Catholic faith, she lived her long life with devotion, gentleness, and grace. She was preceded in death by her first husband Louis J. Wolff and her second husband Chester Brittain Dillard. LaVerne is survived by her sons Louis J. Wolff Jr., Robert C. Wolff (Jenny), Garry S. Wolff (Dianne), Gregory S. Wolff (Tanya), Jeffrey S. Wolff (Rhonda), Ronald M. Wolff (Pam) and Chester Brittain Dillard’s children Caryn Beth Schaffner (Robert), Charles Barry Dillard (Marilyn), and Pamela Susan Dillard.
Her twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren shared a special place in her heart and were a constant source of happiness in her life.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 10 a.m. preceded by a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Internment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 11:30 am. A reception will follow at the Saint Agnes Center at Holy Name Catholic Church where family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate LaVerne’s life.
