Lavaughn Marion Bullock, 93, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away February 25, 2015. She was born March 17, 1921 in Kemmerer, Wyoming, to David Sloan and Lucille Alice Cousins Hunter. Lavaughn was known for her adventurous spirit, love for life and cheerful personality. She traveled to all parts of the world but still found her greatest joy at home with her family and friends. She was a kind, giving and loving person who was always more concerned about the welfare of other people than herself. She was a humble lady who never wanted attention or recognition. Lavaughn served in the LDS Church in many callings including both Ward and Stake Relief Society President. She was famous for her chocolate chip cookies, fudge and other baked goods. She loved the outdoors and especially cherished her trips to the mountains where she enjoyed boating and other water sports. She graduated from the University of Wyoming and was a school teacher until she had children. Lavaughn is survived by three of her four children, Rae Ann (Kent) Kregar, Robert C. (Michele) Bullock and David J. (Kathleen) Bullock; 16 grandchildren; 11 (soon to be 13) great-grandchildren; and brother, Calvin Hunter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Cliffe Bullock in 1999; daughter, Barbara Jean Anderson; and brothers, George and David Hunter. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, from 6-8pm, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, CO. 80122. The Funeral service for Lavaughn will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 11:00am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 999 E. Tufts Ave., Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113. An additional viewing will be held at the Church prior to the service from 9:45am-10:30am. Burial will be at 1:00pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Area ""A"", Denver, CO.
