Laurie F. Martinez

Laurie Martinez passed away on September 29, 2026. She was born September 3, 1949, in Denver, Colorado to Martha Gomez and Edward J. Marquez.

Laurie is survived by her sisters, Darlene Romero (Tony), Suzette Martinez, (Frank), Antoinette (Toni) Martinez (Tina), Linda Romero, and Alice Rodriguez; brother, Ed Marquez – JR (Brenda), and stepdaughter, Chrystall Moldonado (Paolo); grandkids, Summer, Emma, and Mckayla.

Laurie is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Martinez; brother, Ralph Marquez and stepdaughter, Justine.

Laurie worked in the restaurant business for many years. She was married to Michael in a mountain side ceremony on July 29, 2000. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She also like playing cards and board games during family get togethers. Like most of her family she was a big and devoted Denver Broncos fan.

A Memorial Service will be held 11am, Monday, October 12, 2026 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 9405 W. Florida Ave, Lakewood, CO 80232. A Reception Gathering will take place at the church Community Center immediately following.
