Laurence (Laurie) J. Nelson, 75, of Aurora, died August 20, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Vernon; daughter, Dianne (Craig) Miller; grandson, Joshua Miller; and brother, Edmund Rivet. Funeral Mass, Friday, 10:30 a.m., Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 E. Kentucky Ave. Interment following the Mass at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Colorado Helping Hand, c/o 9770 E. Alameda Ave., Denver, CO 80247.
