July 18, 1963 – July 9, 2026

Born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Graduated from Bethel Park High School was part of ROTC and the Color Guard. Attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana which is where she met John.

Laurie Schwartz, a beautiful soul, fierce protector, and a true warrior in life, went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2026, just shy of her 63rd birthday.

Laurie was a rock for her family—a resilient individual who faced life with a rare combination of unwavering strength and a gentle, compassionate soul. Her fierce love and protective spirit shielded those she cared about, and her presence was a constant source of comfort and grounding for everyone blessed enough to know her. She walked through life with grace, deep faith, and an enduring devotion to her loved ones.

Laurie’s legacy of love, resilience, and faith will forever live on in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched. While she is profoundly missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace, resting in the arms of the Lord.

Laurie is survived by her Husband John Schwartz, Mother Lynda Bond, Brother Mark Bond and his wife, Christine and their sons Mac and Joey, her Sister Tracy Champine and husband, Merv and their 2 children Ryan and Nicole. Ryan’s wife Sara and their 2 children Sadie, and Shay.
