Larry Klaus

Walter “Larry” Klaus, 82, died Saturday, May 4, 2024 of natural causes.  He was born September 11, 1941 in Basin, Wyoming and grew up in Hermiston, Oregon.  He joined the United States Navy and became a Naval Aviator, and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War.  Larry was a pilot at Continental Airlines and flew for 33 years.  He was devoted to his family, an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed golfing, camping, snowmobiling, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife June Klaus of Centennial, Colorado, his two sons David Klaus (Kimberly) of The Woodlands, Texas, Steven Klaus of Denver, Colorado, and daughter Colleen Klaus of Aurora, Colorado; three grandchildren Kayla Klaus, Wesley Klaus, and Daniel Klaus.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Ruth Klaus, brother Keith Klaus, stepson Stacey Reiss, and son Kenneth Klaus.
