Larry Wallace Crawford, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, at the age of 81.
Born on October 10, 1944, Larry was the son of James Crawford and Joan Elizabeth Woody. Throughout his life, Larry touched the lives of many people with his wit, intelligence, generosity, and kind heart.
Larry proudly served in the United States Air Force and later spent many years as a hairstylist, where his outgoing personality and natural ability to connect with people made him a friend to many.
Larry had a zest for life and a gift for making people laugh. He loved reading, cooking, decorating, and-perhaps most of all-bringing people together. He enjoyed hosting friends, telling jokes, sharing good food, and creating a home where people felt welcome. His friends and family meant the world to him, and he had a generous spirit that made those around him feel loved and cared for.
Larry will be remembered for his quick wit, warmth, intelligence, creativity, and the laughter he brought into the lives of so many. He leaves behind cherished memories with his family and countless friends who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
He is survived by his sisters, Thelma Whitehurst and Barbra Johnson, and his brother, Kenneth Rae, along with his extended family and many dear friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.
Larry's life was full of people, laughter, friendship, and love. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
