On April 4, 1940, Larry Neal Clark was born to Chester and Delorus Clark in Boone, Iowa the middle son of three boys.

As a child, Larry and his family relocated to Westminster, Colorado, where he graduated from Westminster High School in 1958.

After high school, Larry joined the United States Navy, proudly serving his country from 1958 until 1962. He left the service with an honorable discharge.

Following his military service, Larry attended Northeastern Junior College, which helped lead to his career with the State of Colorado’s unemployment division. He dedicated decades of service there before retiring.

Larry also served in the Colorado Air National Guard, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant before retiring. Service to his community and country was something he valued deeply throughout his life.

After the death of his first wife, Larry met and married Carolyn Lee. Together they shared 41 wonderful years of marriage until Carolyn’s passing in December 2025. Larry and Carol built a life filled with friendship, travel, and family.

Larry was deeply devoted to Freemasonry. A 32nd Degree Mason, he was a proud member of Revelation Lodge No. 180 (now consolidated into Lodge No. 156), where he served as an officer and eventually became Worshipful Master. Through his dedication to the fraternity, Larry formed many lasting friendships.

He was also a member of the Consistory of the Scottish Rite, obtaining the 33rd degree in Masonry.

As a member of the El Jebel Shrine, Larry again rose through the ranks and ultimately served as Potentate. He was active in several Shrine clubs, including the Keystone Kops parade unit, and could often be found volunteering at the Shrine Circus. Later, he also joined the Shrine Sports Car Club.

Larry and Carol shared a love of travel and adventure. Together they visited Germany, Austria, Italy, and many other destinations around the world. They especially enjoyed cruises, traveling to Alaska, the Caribbean, and along the rivers of Europe. These trips created many cherished memories for them both.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Delorus Clark, and his beloved wife, Carolyn Clark.

He is survived by his stepsons, Michael Lee and wife Cathy, and Thomas Lee and wife Katherine; his stepdaughters, Vickie Bush and husband Gary, and Sherrie Purdy. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren who will remember him with love.
