Larry Anglada Castillo (Bocky) was born in Denver, Colorado, on July 17, 1955, to Martha Christine Anglada Castillo and Robert Reye Castillo.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Jerry Anglada Castillo (Bocky); his nephew, Jerry Bocky Castillo; and his grandparents, Fernando and Mary (Gomez) Anglada and Manuel and Manuela Castillo.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine Castillo; his loving son, Mason Castillo; his sisters, Debra Tucker, Loretta Castillo-Molet, Kimberly Martinez, and De’Ann Fitzpatrick, and their families; his mother-in-law, Jeanette Espinosa; his brother-in-law, Ted Espinosa, and his family; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Larry was a loving husband and devoted father. Lorraine and Mason were his world. He loved them deeply, and being Lorraine’s husband and Mason’s dad was one of the greatest joys of his life.

Larry was an essential part of the family business he and his father established in the 1970s, Castillo Excavating. Through his dedication, hard work, and determination, he helped build the business into a successful and respected company.

Larry was also a talented and gifted jewelry maker. He handcrafted beautiful turquoise pendants, rings, and bracelets, putting his creativity and love into every piece. He was a true jack-of-all-trades, with a talent for building, gardening, landscaping, home renovation, and repairing cars. There always seemed to be something he could fix, build, or figure out.

But perhaps what people will remember most about Larry was the way he made others feel. He never met a stranger. He was friendly, outgoing, and always ready with a joke or a prank. He had a playful spirit and a wonderful sense of humor, but beneath that was a kind and loving heart.

Larry leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, craftsmanship, hard work, and love. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His love for Lorraine and Mason, his generous spirit, and the memories he created with those around him will remain in their hearts forever.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held on August 26, 2026, at 9:30 a.m at Healing Water Ministries. There will be a committal service at Crown Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m with a reception to follow.
