Kevin G. Strahley

Kevin G. Strahley, 61, – a beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and Pop Pop suddenly and unexpectedly, went home to see the Lord amid a round of golf with his son and dear friends on Saturday, May 2 in Littleton, Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lori and his children Kevin and Brittany as well as their spouses, whom he loved as his own, Nick and Emily. And, of course his dog Satch. The thing he loved most was being a Pop Pop and he will live on in the hearts, minds, and actions of his grandchildren Quinn, Sloan, Reagan, Warren, and his namesake Kevin G. Strahley. Per his wishes, he will be laid to rest with his parents, Paul and Sharon Strahley, in Paulding, Ohio – the place where he was born, raised, and educated at Paulding High School (class of 1976) and nearby Bluffton University (class of 1980).

Our Pop Pop taught us so many lessons that we will pass on to his grandchildren and we are comforted by our faith in God and his plan for our family. Everything that he did in this life he did with a competitive drive and passion rivaled by few. He didn't know how to (nor did he want to) live life in any way other than fully. And he did. He loved the deepest, worked the hardest, relaxed the relaxest, and enjoyed every minute he was here. He enjoyed spending weekends golfing, hunting, fishing, and his Ohio roots made him the biggest Buckeye football fan.

As an avid outdoorsman, Kevin was an enthusiastic supporter of the Highlands Ranch Backcountry Conservation & Education Fund.
