Kevin Michael Magee

Our beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away on June 19, 1919 after a brave fight with Multiple Myeloma. He was born to James and Adlyn Magee (nee Stoeck) in Evergreen Park, IL on December 16, 1955. In his later years Kevin went on to study at DePaul University in Chicago where he earned a Bachelors Degree as well as his Masters. He went on to apply his knowledge working for the Cerner Corporation where he eventually retired from .

He is survived by his wife, Mary Magee and their 4 children, Kevin (Megan) Magee, Cara (Michael) Shepherd, Patrick (Kristen) Magee and Brendan (Katie) Magee. Seven grandchildren, Colin Wightman, Aidan, Mary Kate, and Adlyn Shepherd, Eamon Magee, and Rylan and Addison Magee. Sisters, Kathy (Roger) Addison and Mary Pat (Edward) O’Leary, brothers, Terry (Mary Lou, deceased)Magee and Ron (Debbie) Magee. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Alice McCarty, and his step mother-in-law, Ida McCarty, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and in-laws. Family was everything to him and he loved us all dearly. Our thanks and gratitude go out to the doctors and nurses at the University of Colorado Anschutz Center. A visitation for Kevin will be held Wednesday, 6/26, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Road. from 2 PM-7 PM. Rosary to follow. Funeral Mass to be held Thursday, 6/27, at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church,18000 E Arapahoe Rd, at 4 pm. Reception to follow.
