With deepest sorrow, we announce that Keith Paul Zupancic (Beefy/Keithy), age 22, our most beloved son, brother, twin, grandson, uncle and best friend passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
Those who knew Keith, even just a little, lost a best friend and a shining light in their lives.
Keith was attending University of Northern Colorado pursuing a degree in Human Services. He was starting his senior year this Fall and planning to pursue a Masters Degree in recreation upon graduation next May. Keith was so excited to build his future.
He enjoyed spending as much time with his family as he could (especially with his twin sister), playing basketball, creating music, face timing his friends every day, playing Rocket League with his friends, and doing anything and everything he could to help the people he loved. Nobody loved their family more passionately than Keith did.
Keith will be deeply missed everyday by Mom, Sheri Kay, Dad, Patrick Kay, older brother, Jake Lempka (Braelei Hardt), older sister, Cassie Moore, brother-in-law (and best friend), Connor Moore, twin sister (and best friend), Kaylin Zupancic (David Tschumper), girlfriend and love of his life, Lauren Gonzales, his grandma, Dianne Craft, his Uncle Curt Craft, his great Aunt, Casey Kiess, as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many great friends.
We know Keith is now with his grandpa, Ron Craft, his favorite person, and is immensely loved here on earth as well as in heaven. His goofy personality, loving hugs and huge heart will be missed greatly. We LOVE and MISS you so much already Beefy. Flex on those angels for us.
“Don’t remember me with sadness,
Don't remember me with tears,
Remember me with laughter,
We’ve shared throughout the years.
Now that I am contented,
That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing that I passed along the way,
That I made somebody smile.
When you’re walking down the street,
And you’ve got me on your mind,
I’m walking in your footsteps,
Only half a step behind.
So please don’t be unhappy,
Just because I’m out of sight,
Remember I am with you,
Each morning, noon, and night.”
Keith's celebration of life will be at Encounter Church 6825 S. Galena St., Centennial 80112 on Thursday August 26th at 10:30 am with a reception following.
