Katherine C. Moore

Kay and her twin sister Lyn were born in Queens, NY, the youngest of the five children of Frank and Nellie Moore. In 1937, the family returned to Denver, Frank and Nellie's original home. Kay attended Sacred Heart and Loyola Grade Schools and Cathedral High School. After 20 years as a Sister of Charity, she began a career as a teacher in the Jefferson County School District, from which she retired in 1995. For the past 15 years she has lived at the San Marino Retirement Community in Westminster. Kay is survived by the many children and grandchildren of her brothers Bob and Alan and her sister Jeanne Menconi. This large family loved her and will miss her greatly.
