Karen Sue Storch Byrden

Born June 26, 1940 in Wheeling, WV passed away peacefully in Denver, CO at the age of 81 on October 16, 2021.

She was cherished by all who were lucky enough to know her and will be deeply missed and forever loved.

She is survived by her sister, Sallie; son, Brian; daughter, Sarah; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; and granddaughters, Caley and Quinn.

Karen took her last breath and left her body at about 8:40 pm on Saturday October 16th. She passed peacefully, with a little smile on her face just before she died, holding the hand of one of her closest caregivers, Gloria.

Her last many days were spent lucid and content.

Karen was a most amazing woman who has left a life well-lived and a legacy of so much strength, quick-wit, loyalty, love and joy for all of us. Her bright spirit and smile will live on. To know Karen was to love her.

She will be dearly missed and forever loved and cherished.

Services will be held on Wednesday October 27th.

Funeral Mass: 10 am @ Mother of God Church in Denver
