Kara Anne Imeraj

Our perfect Kara, aged 9, passed away peacefully in her parent’s embrace, embarking on a wondrous journey to Heaven. Kara Anne Imeraj was born to parents Joseph and Lisa Imeraj on March 6, 2014, and passed away on January 6, 2024, from complications due to cardiac arrest and chronic respiratory disease.

Originally only given a year to live, Kara displayed her fighting spirit and will every single day. Kara was well-known to all as a sweet child, knowing only unconditional love in her miraculous life. She enjoyed being in the water, music, and colorful lights. More than anything, Kara loved smiling as her parents and sisters held her and loved her.

Kara will meet in Heaven her beloved nurse Avis. She is survived by her mother Lisa, father Joseph, stepmother Danielle, older sister Riley, twin sister Jillian, grand-parents Fred, Paula, Steve, and Vicki, uncles Joshua, William, Jonathan, Stephen, and Godwin, aunts Jessica, Chelsey, Andrea, and Taylor, and cousins Henry, Evelyn, Maya, Mylo, and Kai.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014; on Sunday, January 21, beginning at 12:00 noon. A Celebration of Life Service will follow visitation, beginning at 1:00pm. Please join our family in celebrating Kara's beautiful life.
