Julie Richmond

Julie Richmond passed away on August 26, 2024. Julie was born in Pocatello, Idaho to David and Mary Roberts. She was the youngest of ten children. Raised in Utah, she attended BYU in Provo and graduated from BYU Idaho in 2023. Julie was married to Lloyd H. Richmond in 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. Lloyd and Julie had five beloved children. They served missions together for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peru, Argentina, the British Isles, and the Denver Colorado Temple. Julie had a great love for her faith, church, singing, painting, waterskiing, reading, and writing.

Julie was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd, and two grandsons, David Richmond and Parker Wells. She is survived by her five children — Rick (Linda) Richmond of La Canada, CA; Shauna (Taylor) Stephens of Highlands Ranch, CO; Ron (Vicki) Richmond of Mount Pleasant, UT; Ray (Alicia) Richmond of La Jolla, CA; and Shelley (Tom) Stolk of Highlands Ranch, CO — 21 of 23 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one sister — Kathryn Provard — and 31 nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and four sisters. 

A Viewing will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 starting at 9:00AM until 11:00AM with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00AM both at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 6705 S. Webster, Littleton, Colorado.
