Judith Ann Ramsay of Boulder, Colorado, passed away peacefully at home with her husband Arlan at her side on February 27, 2021. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 17, 1937. Judith earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas at Lawrence and earned a Master’s degree (EdM) in elementary education at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Judith was a skilled seamstress from an early age. She enjoyed raising her children and being around children. She was a generous volunteer, enjoyed morning walks with friends, reading, taking trips to the mountains and spending special occasions with her family.

Judith was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Hulse.

Mrs. Ramsay is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arlan Ramsay of Boulder, Colorado, and a son, Keith Ramsay of Denver. Her eldest son, Bruce Ramsay (Jeanne Ramsay), passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2021. Judith is also survived by her step grandson, Justin Simonar (Kasandra Harris) of Aurora, Colorado, step granddaughter Brooke Allison (Lorne Cordova) of Parker, Colorado, her sister, Frances Kirwan of Topeka, Kansas, and nieces Denise Bandy and Kathy Bayless.

A combined memorial service for both Judith and her son Bruce will be held on July 12, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Koening Alumni Center, 1202 University Avenue, Boulder, CO 80302.
