Judith Ann Holladay, lovingly known as Judy to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, at Pine Grove Crossing in Parker, Colorado, after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She was 77 years old. Surrounded by the love of her family, Judy left this world knowing she was deeply cherished.

Judy was born on January 5, 1949, in New York, to Leland “Bud” McCullough and Bertha “Birtie” McCullough. She grew up with a kind heart, a strong work ethic, and a deep love for family that would define the rest of her life. After graduating from the University of Maryland, she followed the love of her life, Peter Randall “Randy” Holladay, to Denver, Colorado, in 1971. The two were married in 1973 and went on to share a beautiful 50-year marriage. Their story began as middle school sweethearts and grew into a lifetime of cherished memories together.

Judy dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked in daycare, where her nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless children and families. Later, she shared another passion by owning and operating a flower shop with her daughter, Emily. Flowers brought Judy great joy, and she had a gift for creating beauty that brightened the lives of those around her. It was fitting that her favorite color was purple, a color that reflected her warmth, grace, creativity, and gentle spirit.

Above all else, Judy’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an adoring Mimi. Her children—Casey, Emily, and Nick—were her greatest source of pride, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She found immeasurable happiness in being Mimi to her beloved grandchildren: Hannah, Tegan, Harper, Henry, and Reece. Whether celebrating milestones, sharing stories, or simply spending time together, Judy’s love for her family was constant and unconditional.

Judy is survived by her brother Richard McCullough, her three children and their spouses, Casey and Jenny Holladay, Emily and Nick Hoaglin, and Nick and Tiffany Holladay; and her treasured grandchildren, Hannah, Tegan, Harper, Henry, and Reece. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Judy to the Alzheimer’s Association.
