Judi Apple was 61, just 1 day shy from being 62. She passed in her home surrounded by her family in Evergreen, Colorado on Thursday June 23rd from liver failure.
Judi was born in Denver in 1960. She lived in Denver, Westminster, Arvada and Evergreen. Judi met Brad in jewelry class at South High School in 1976; they were each other’s first dates. Judi and Brad got married in 1980. Judi was raised as a Christian and her amazing faith has continued to grow throughout the years and with our family.
Judi loved animals, the outdoors, botany, crafts and painting. She was creative, artistic and a perfectionist at all things. She was adventurous, sociable and outgoing. She loved entertaining, hosting parties, dinners and book clubs.
Judi grew up riding dirt bikes and has always loved the mountains. Her dream was to someday live in the mountains, in 2007 her dream came true when Judi and Brad moved to Evergreen.
Judi was beautiful inside and out. She has always loved helping people and has spent most of her life helping in any way she could. Participating in fundraisers to help children without shoes in Africa, children in the Denver area with Toys for Tots, Children’s Hospital, Judi’s House, Laradon Hall, BACA, Samaritans Purse, and the Second Wind Foundation just to name a few. She truly had a heart of gold. Judi was part of the Crossroads Church of Denver and taught their Kindergarten Sunday school for over seven years.
Judi was a dedicated and savvy business owner. She was able to start many businesses surrounding Denver. She had an unceasing drive to make everything around her better. She started a plumbing/ HVAC company with her husband, a fitness center, salon & spa, and rental properties. Judi made connections with just about everyone she met and could make friends quickly with ease.
Judi was a devoted mother and nana. She always put her children and grandchildren first. All of her children and grandchildren knew they could come to her with any problem, and she would help remedy it. Her heart was always open, and it did not matter the time of day or the request, she would move mountains for them. She was known as the “marshmallow” for her soft and caring heart.
Judi is now in heaven with her mother Claudean, her grandma Pearl, grandpa Norton, aunt Beverly, uncle Jim, uncle Joe and other loved ones. She is survived by her father, James Bond; her husband, Brad Apple; her children: Jennifer Apple, Lindsay Zabinski (Derek), Jeff Apple (Lynsee); her siblings James Bond (Tina) and Debbie Beluscak; her grandchildren: Kaitlynn Apple, Kristopher Apple-Duncan, Joshua Apple, Jaden Apple, Gianna Apple, Alexandra Hudson, and one on the way.
In honor of Judi, a service will be held 3pm with a reception to follow Thursday August 4th,2022 at, Mission Hills Church (Littleton Campus) at 620 Southpark Dr. Littleton 80120.
We will happily accept flowers or in lieu of flowers, we are asking for contributions to Judi’s House. This is a non-profit organization for abused, grieving and/or children and families living in poverty in Denver.
