Judge Charles D. Pierce

Judge Charles D. Pierce passed away on July 29, 2018. Judge Pierce served on the Colorado State Court of Appeals for 35 years. Prior to that appointment, he was an attorney in Pueblo and the San Luis Valley. He also served under General George Patton in WWII. After retirement, he wrote novels and short stories. Charles is survived by his wife, Jane Pierce and his children, Cynthia Phillips, Kathryn Thompson and John Pierce. Grandfather of Sarah Phillips, Steven Phillips, Jamie Pierce and Brendon Thompson. Great-grandfather of Stella Phillips. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 18th at 1pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the charity of your choice.
