Joyce B. Canterbury

Joyce B., a beloved wife, mother, and sister, passed peacefully on September 3,  in Lakewood, Colorado, at the age of 76. Born on December 17, 1947, in Illinois, Joyce was a remarkable individual whose warmth and positivity touched the lives of everyone she met.

A dedicated lifelong learner, Joyce earned two master's degrees throughout her academic journey. Her commitment to education was matched only by her professional dedication, having enjoyed a fulfilling 35-year career at National Jewish Hospital, where she left an indelible mark through her hard work and compassion.

Joyce was not only known for her professional accomplishments but also for her adventurous spirit. She was a world traveler, embracing the beauty and richness of various cultures, and her stories often brought joy and inspiration to her friends and family.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband, David of 35 years; her son, Charles; her brother, Ronnie; and her sister, Patti. She was predeceased by her parents, Lorraine and Paige Baker, as well as her brother, Donny.

Her legacy of kindness and joy will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held, allowing her loved ones to remember her in their own personal and meaningful ways.
