Josephine ""Jo"" Bausch-Hammergren

Very occasionally in our short time on earth we are graced with a remarkable light in our lives. The luckiest of us find that in our own beloved mother. Jo Bausch-Hammergren left us gently and painlessly on March 17, 2017 and will be sorely missed by her family and many friends around the world. She has left us, but we will keep her near us always, bringing inspiration, acceptance and laughter, just as she did in life. She may be gone, but will never fade away. Jo is survived by her husband Carl Hammergren, and five children, Becky, Greg, Jill, Daniel and Peg and seven cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Kara, Harrison, Jackson, Georgia, Nelson and Margot. Goodbye much-loved Mom, Grandma, wife and friend. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO, 80014. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to University of Colorado Foundation to benefit Alzheimer's disease research at the Rocky Mountain Alzheimer's Disease Center.
