It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of Joseph Edward Repass. Joseph passed away in his home in Lakewood, Colorado on February 22nd at age 80.

Joseph was born on August 31st, 1942, in Tazewell, Virginia to John Repass and Virginia (Atwell) Repass. Joseph lived a fulfilling life as a father, brother, grandparent, and friend. He loved God and his family very much. His grandchildren would often refer to him as Santa Claus because of his warm smile and puffy white beard. He adored his siblings, especially his sister Betty. He was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce. In 1966, he was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, which became one of his favorite places in the world. Joseph was an airman second class, E-3. He specialized in weapons mechanics and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Joseph was a local handyman for many years. In his prime he was the owner of Clearview Window Washing, where he would scale the buildings of Denver and make them shine! Joseph loved to spend his free time in nature feeding ducks and squirrels. He will be greatly missed for his humorous personality and his unconditional friendship.
