In Loving Memory of Joseph Michael Pagnotta
Joe, age 74, of Castle Rock, Colorado, passed away on October 26, 2026, surrounded by his wife, children and closest family.
Born on March 19, 1952, in Pueblo, Colorado, Joe lived a life defined by hard work, humility, and a deep love for his family. He worked his way up to become a part owner of Sheplers, driven by his desire to provide for his family and ensure they had every opportunity in life. He took pride in leadership, teaching others, and helping those around him succeed.
Joe will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who had a special way of making people feel welcome and making them laugh. Humble by nature, he was loved by so many and never cared to be the center of attention , but always left a lasting impression. A proud CU student-athlete in football and track, Joe remained a lifelong sports fan, always cheering on the Buffs, Broncos, and Nuggets. Above all, Joe was the biggest fan of his children’s accomplishments, especially in sports.
Joe is survived by his wife, Shari; his three children, Joeilyn Pagnotta, Ryan (Lauren), Matthew (Laurel), his grandchildren, Siena and Giovanni. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Rose Pagnotta, and his brother, Anthony Pagnotta.
Joe will be deeply missed and forever remembered by the many people whose lives he touched. His love, laughter, and dedication will remain with all who knew him.
