Jose Louis Garcia

Jose Louis Garcia passed away January 5, 2016 at the age of 83. He was born June 6, 1932 to Emilo and Connie Garcia in Anton Chico, New Mexico. He is survived by wife Mary; daughter Veronica (Michael) Poe; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters Mary Stone and Rosie Chavez. He was preceded in death by his brother Joe Garcia and sisters Virginia Crispin and Diana Valdez. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 beginning at 6:00 in the evening at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street in Thornton. Following the Funeral Service, a light reception will be served at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 beginning at 11:00 in the morning at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1209 W. 36th Avenue in Denver. Burial will follow at 1:30 in the afternoon at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area B, in Denver. A reception will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 in the evening at El Jardin, 6460 East 73rd Avenue in Commerce City.
