Jonathan Michael George

Jonathan Michael George, Jonny, died unexpectedly in Lakewood after an attack in Westminster. He passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 34 years old. Jonny is survived by his parents, Mary George and Ray George Jr., his children Dave George with his mother Emerald Cunningham and Jonathan George Jr with his mother Ericka Halte, his brothers David George and Raymond George the 3rd, and his grandparents Charlotte Brasher and Raymond George Sr. Jonny is preceded in death by his grandparents David Brasher and Judy George. 

Jonny was born on November 10th, 1989 in Denver, Colorado to Mary and Ray George. He graduated from Northglenn High School in 2008. He went on to work a number of different jobs before finding his home at Dealers Auto Auction of the Rockies. In the twelve years that he enjoyed working there, he welcomed his two children, Dave and Jonathan Jr. Jonny was very passionate about fishing and spent as much of his spare time doing so, no matter the weather. Ice fishing was his favorite way to fish. He also loved to cook and enjoyed doing so with his family. Jonny also enjoyed cars and going to car meets and working on his cars, of which he had many. Jonny was a very generous and caring man. He would help any person that crossed his path. The funeral is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Friday, December 6th at Horan and McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation. The address is 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80229. A reception will follow at the Legacy Ridge Golf Course in Westminster. The address is 10801 Legacy Ridge Pkwy, Westminster, CO 80031. Joe Burnham will officiate the ceremony.
