John P. Whelan, III

John P. Whelan, III passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2015 after succumbing to injuries received in the line of duty. He was born June 23, 1969 to John P. Whelan, Jr. and Janet (Daniel) Whelan in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Sheri (Kennedy) Whelan and son, Jackson; parents John & Janet Whelan; brothers Jeff (Laura) & Jason Whelan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Steve & Betty Daniel, Jack Whelan and Margie (Vince) Beck. Funeral Services are planned for Tuesday, July 21, 2015, beginning at 9:30 in the morning at Faith Bible Chapel, 6250 Wright Street in Arvada. Burial will follow at Mt.
